Why we stock this? We chose to stock this tent for it's lower price point compared to the Copper spur and still being a bikepack version with shorter pole segments. Being made from poly instead of nylon makes this tent heavier and larger to pack, but drives the price down. This is a great tent for those who ride middle weight to larger bikes and enjoy setting up a base camp and go riding for the day. The large vestibule makes a nice spot to drop your gear and go ride.

New to the  family of tents, and inspired by the tried and true Blacktail Series, these tents are known for their spacious sleeping areas with easy access through two, side-entry doors and vestibules at an excellent value. These are perfect motorcycle camping tents for those who want to keep all their extra gear in a larger vestibule. 

Featuring a shortened 12"" Shortstik Poleset for optimal handlebar, pannier, and saddlebag storage, complete with a burly bikepacking-ready compression sack that attaches readily to your bike with integrated daisy chain webbing. Stash your helmet in the added webbing located on the tent body exterior and dry out wet clothes and gear on daisy chain webbing loops integrated on the fly exterior. Designed for on and off-road, two-wheeled travel, the Blacktail Hotel Bikepack tent is light enough for backcountry trails and strong enough for the front country roads.
